Savigny wines are both delicate and elegant. They are often associated with feminine virtues because of those qualities. The Talmette is a noble wine and is served on the famous Pulman Orient Express train.

LOCATION:
Savigny les Beaune is a village on the north limit of the town of Beaune. The gravelly soils of the Narbantons produces a light charming and elegant wine.

VARIETAL:
Pinot noir

COLOUR:
Nice bright ruby red with a hint of orange

NOSE:
Generous aromas of fruit, flowers and spices

MOUTH:
Wild cherry, blackcurrant and raspberry taste that changes to strawberries with time. The finish is crisp, frank and persistent.

KEEPING:
Ready to drink—will keep on evolving for the next three to five years, keeps for 10 to 15 years

SERVING:
Between 15°C and 16°C
Poultry, beef, and pork.
Calls for a light cuisine, nothing with strong or heavy sauces.
