DESCRIPTION:
The Henri Montagny estate is a small property quite unknown which is of great advantage to us as it produces wines of great quality at affordable prices. The estates is run by the daughter of the late Henri Monatgny and she takes great pride in her family traditions. The Volnay is a more feminine wine compared to the Pommard, which is rather masculine.
LOCATION:
Pommard is situated in the middle of the Côte de Beaunes. It produces one of the most prestigious French wines.

COLOUR:
Nice deep red with a hint of orange
NOSE:
Spices, leather and small red fruits
MOUTH:
Powerful but with finesse. Complex, firm tannins, well balanced
KEEPING:
Ready to drink—will keep on evolving, made to be kept and aged.
Keeps for 15 to 20 yrs
SERVING:
Between 15°C and 17° C
Lamb, pheasant, duck, and roast beef
